1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using jurorAtlas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Intended Users

jurorAtlas is designed for legal professionals, law students, educators, and anyone engaged in legal education or practice. Users applying AI-generated analysis to actual jury selection proceedings should be licensed attorneys or work under the supervision of one.

3. Not Legal Advice

jurorAtlas provides analytical tools and AI-assisted insights to support jury selection. The platform does not provide legal advice. All recommendations are suggestions based on algorithmic analysis and should be evaluated by qualified legal counsel. Users are solely responsible for their jury selection decisions.

4. AI Features Disclaimer

AI-powered evaluations and question generation use third-party machine learning models. While we anonymize data before processing, AI outputs may contain inaccuracies. Users should treat AI evaluations as supplementary analysis, not authoritative assessments. jurorAtlas is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.

5. Batson v. Kentucky Compliance

jurorAtlas analyzes juror responses based on case-relevant characteristics only. The platform does not use race, ethnicity, gender, religion, national origin, or other protected classifications in its scoring algorithms. Users are responsible for ensuring their jury selection practices comply with Batson v. Kentucky and all applicable law.

6. Data Responsibility

Case data is stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for securing your device and clearing sensitive data when appropriate. We recommend clearing case data after trial conclusion.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Feature access depends on your subscription tier.

8. Limitation of Liability

jurorAtlas is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for trial outcomes, legal malpractice claims, or any damages arising from use of the platform. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
